Chris Jarrard

  

At J5 Business Advisors, our mission is to empower businesses with expert advice and strategic insights. We believe that every business has the potential to thrive with the right guidance.


Chris Jarrard has over 25 years of experience in business. The last 15 years he has pursued his entrepreneurial passion and focused on starting, acquiring, building, merging, and selling small businesses with less than $50M in top line revenue. Chris has held numerous positions including CEO, President, COO, CFO, and Chairman of the Board. 


Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures he spent over ten years building and growing products and programs at CSC Supply Chain, Raytheon, BNSF Railroad, and American Airlines. Chris graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Logistics and is a Certified Entrepreneur from SMU in Dallas. He is completing his Financial Planning & Analysis Certificate from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. 


During the course of his career he has encountered and managed through every possible challenge or problem a small business owner can face. He has won and lost, learned a lot of valuable lessons along the way. Chris wants to use his experience in small business to help entrepreneurs to be successful, make wise decisions, and enjoy growing their businesses.

Our Approach

  1. We will evaluate our FIT for you and your business.  If we don't believe we are a good FIT we will assist you in finding advisors that are.  Credibility in our process matters most. 
  2. Prior to engagement, we will agree on scope of work and conduct research / build a plan 
  3. Learning by being exposed to your business on site will be key
  4. We will conduct interviews, further research, and begin documenting our learnings
  5. As we progress with fulfilling our scope of work we will present progress reports
  6. Our goal will be to emphasize business process with an implementation timeline that works with your schedule
  7. We will be here for as long as it's required to assist with execution and implementation of a final plan
  8. We will work to incorporate key performance indicators and success metrics and capture data to demonstrate the success of the implementation strategy
  9. Everything we do will be goal oriented and your protection and support as the owner in mind
  10. We have been in your shoes and our approach will be dedicated to the realization that we appreciate how much pressure and stress small business owners can be under.  We are here to help alleviate that pressure and stress by providing wise and experienced advisory services.
